Knight's fiction has appeared in national publications, Phoenix Magazine and Redbook. She has also served as technical and script consultant for Fox-Regency Film Productions. A fifth generation Oregonian, she is active in community theater and preservation of pioneer history.

As a pre-med student at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, Knight acted in many regional theatrical productions and improv theater working under the tutelage of Charles Laughton.

Knight's varied experience as an investigator and forensic lecturer provides the background for the mystery and police procedural genre.

Knight lives in Portland, Oregon, where she manages a Trial Consulting practice and continues to write mysteries and quirky tales on the Northwest scene.
